Cleveland Winery

We picked Cleveland Winery to stay overnight, in the area before continuing on our Macedon Ranges weekend. Boasting the only underground cellar door in the region, we were looking forward to settling in, down in the underground [time to watch Labyrinth again].

We popped into the cellar, and we able to taste a few of the wines. We were left to ourselves, which some guests may prefer, however unfortunately for us we weren’t really able to learn much about the winery or the wines - what we love about visiting cellar doors.

We had dinner in the restaurant, retired to our room, cracked the bottle of Pinot we purchased, drank it out of our hotel mugs and proceeded to roll around the bed in laughter at Ali Wong’s - Hard Knock Wife [just Hilarious].

The morning walk in the mist was beautiful, we checked out with the lovely receptionist who complimented me on my laugh and made our way on up the road to next venue.   

How many bottles did we buy: 2 [managed to not spit one out in laughter - where my lilypads at?]
